These Terms of Service (“Terms”) apply to your use of the Car Events Texas website and services, including the event calendar, event submissions and promotion packages. By using the site, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.

1. Event listings are provided by organizers

Event information on this site comes from organizers, clubs, the community and public sources. We try to keep it accurate, but we don't run these events and can't guarantee that dates, times, locations, fees, awards or other details are correct, current or complete. Events can be changed, postponed or cancelled without notice. Always confirm with the host before you go. We are not responsible for any event, its organizers, venues, vendors or attendees, or for anything that happens at or because of an event.

2. Submitting an event

  • You must be the organizer or have the organizer's permission to submit an event.
  • You confirm the information you submit is accurate and that you have the rights to any flyers, logos, photos or text you provide.
  • You give Car Events Texas a free, non-exclusive, worldwide license to use, reproduce, edit, format and publish your submission on our website, in our Facebook group and on our social media, for as long as we list the event and in our archive afterward.
  • Listing is free, but we choose what to publish. We may edit, decline or remove any listing at any time, including events that aren't open to the public, aren't in Texas, involve street racing or illegal activity, or that we believe are inaccurate or inappropriate.
  • To change or remove a listing, contact us.

3. Promotion packages and services

  • Packages, add-ons, sponsorships and season passes are marketing services. Each package's product page describes what's included.
  • We schedule posts and blog content around your event date. Organizers get to review blog posts before they publish. Exact timing and wording are at our reasonable discretion.
  • Promotion helps people find your event, but we don't guarantee any particular attendance, registrations, reach, engagement or results.
  • Paid advertising (such as a boosted ad) runs on third-party platforms that have their own rules and approval processes. If a platform rejects or limits an ad, we'll work with you on an alternative or a credit.
  • Cancellations, refunds and credits are covered by our Refund Policy.

4. Acceptable use

Don't misuse the site. That includes submitting false or misleading events, spam, infringing or unlawful content, scraping or copying the calendar in bulk, interfering with the site's operation, or impersonating someone else.

5. Our content

The site's design, logo, text and original content belong to Car Events Texas or our licensors. Event flyers and logos belong to their owners. You may share links to our pages, but you may not copy the site or its content for commercial use without permission.

6. Links to other sites

We link to registration pages, social media and other third-party sites we don't control. Your use of those sites is governed by their own terms and policies.

7. Disclaimers

The site and services are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent the law allows.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, Car Events Texas won't be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss arising from events listed on the site. Our total liability for any claim related to our services is limited to the amount you paid us for the service involved in the 12 months before the claim.

9. Indemnity

If you submit an event or content, you agree to defend and hold Car Events Texas harmless from claims arising from your event, your content or your breach of these Terms.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules.

11. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. The new version applies once it is posted here.
